Clearly the most impressive building in the main square. Nice architecture. Didn't get to go in though. Most of the rest of the Plaza Mayor is filled with bars and restaurants

Located in Plaza Mayor, this building is an impressive presence in the square. The city hail blends well with surrounding buildings in this lively plaza. There are many bars, cafes and restaurants, with many people enjoying drinks and food, sit back, relax and people watch.

Located in Plaza Mayor, to the left of the cathedral is the city hall. Quite an impressive but plain building. Surrounded by bars, cafes and restaurants, an area to relax and take in the atmosphere.

The City Hall is quite clean and has a very nice architecture that is quite symmetrical and beautiful. The plaza in front of it is also very good and there are stores around the plaza.

Morning market held on a Friday when i was there. Lots of local colour. Plenty of bars round the side but look for the ones where the locals drink!

Sunday mass was celebrated here instead of the cathederal. It was a perfect day for the feast day and there are little shops with real "goodies" all around it.

The city hall building is located on Plaza Mayor, also known as Plaza Mercado Chico. The building is an imposing presence in the small square.

Joined a day tour to Avila, passed by City Hall on our way touring around the city. It was a pleasant day out in Avila.
