We (3 people) found Sau through Facebook, where he had amazing reviews. Therefore we decided to give it a try and booked a 3 day 2 night tour with the last day being on motorbikes. Sau picked us up in our homestay in Sapa with a big smile on his face and our journey began. We went directly in the rice fields through small villages and ended at a nice homestay. We loved our 3 day with sau and would definitely choose him again for any tour in that area! …

Awesome private trek with a local guide! Sau is very transparent from the beginning of what the hike will entail and costs. Sometimes Sau isn't available to take you on a hike but always has someone available to take you. Our guide was Song, she was very sweet and patient. We also met Mu, Sau's wife, who led another small group. The treks were mostly quiet, avoiding large tour groups. Amazing views. Also liked trekking through the bamboo forest. The trek is not too difficult, but can be a bit strenuous on the knees going downhill. Many breaks were offered, and there was enough spots to buy water. I would recommend Sau to everyone going to Sapa - no big groups, great routes and of course, amazing views. …
