This beach could be truly amazing but due to trash being left on the beach every day and more trash coming from the rivers into the ocean when it rains it’s really dirty. Having said this the sunset is amazing and if you don’t mind some dirt then you’re kids will love playing here.

How on earth can we save out beautiful ocean mammals when locals and tourists alike treat this beautiful beach with disrespect. Dog poop everywhere, broken glass and litter lined it's shores. Could be nice if folks cleaned up their acts and respectfully put their litter in the bins :(

Women solo travelers, be careful!!!!!!
After sunset, some parts of the beach are pitch black, with no lighting.
On the way to the beach, there was a sidewalk construction that was still ongoing.
Some of the construction workers are not local people.
Be cautious!
They don't respect and treat tourists like locals do.
Tips: Leave the beach before it's completely dark.
You can choose some cafes or beach clubs that have security guards to continue hanging out after sunset.

berawa beach is a famous surfing beach,,but now maybe for party goers?been here in September,that time i stayed in canggu,one afternoon,i walked from my villa to canggu beach first,then took some sunset pics there,but that day weather not so good,not very great sunset view.then i continued my beach journey,i started from echo beach, then batu bolong beach, canggu beach, nelayan beach. the final is berawa beach.then i went out of the beach,cuz i had to go to kuta that night.i noticed there is a small river between nelayan and berawa,that time the sky already dark,so a bit dangerous i think.will come again in the daytime,i think the view must be different.

The beach is always busy, it's nice to see people surfing and dogs running around in the afternoon.
Lots of sports, there's roasted corn, there's beer, there's coffee. Just feels like Finns hahaha. For bean bags, 50 thousand for 1 bean bag. Not bad for enlightening the mind.
Car parking is difficult, motorbike parking is free.

A good spot to watch the sunset. Free of charge. Pleasant feeling of being on the beach, with the sound of crashing waves. There were a lot of dogs running around and playing. The local guide will provide you with the opportunity to ride horses.

the local authorities have let the trashy beach clubs take over ,filthy with dog sht everywhere rubbish and plastic washing up.bathing in the sea they warn of serious infections etc !!!!

Only for yoga stretching vegan kombucha drinking hipsters, plus the beach looks like a rubbish dump and sewerage outlet. I live on the beach in oz and I wouldn't even put my feet in the water in canggu. Such a uninviting atmosphere as well it's been taken over by total wankers . Was in canggu to years ago and the atmosphere was friendly and people said hello, now they only pose for Instagram photos and drink kombucha after they try and surf but most just scooter around with surfboard pretending they are surf God's.
