    Worth your $$$
Such a great tour! Our guide was Captain Useless, and he was everything but that! He took us around the island, into the areas you wouldn’t typically see as a tourist or can’t get to in a rental car, with great commentary along the way. Up to the waterfall, out to the historic Rarotonga monument to 7 canoes, and explanations into all of the fruits and flowers we saw as we drove past. Then we went up to the highest point of the island for a vehicle to take photos and enjoy the sights! Overall this trip was incredible, great value for money and an interesting insight into the island. 10/10

Great experience with great truck lot
Driver is great and people we shared a truck with were all great people so we enjoyed the experience together. I took my 2 and 4 year old and just held them both when needed. Most of it is pretty easy driving, there is one part that's steep off roading adventure, and we just held our kids during that. The look out you go to is beautiful, but keep an ear on your children up there. Our driver opened us a coconut which added more culture to the trip. The only recommendation I'd have is it would be cool if the driver could wear a microphone as it's a bit hard to hear.

    Great fun!
Mr T (driver and informative tour guide) was excellent. The group was lovely and we all bumped along well!!! Probably not the gig for you if you have any back issues, as you go 4WD up near vertical mountain dirt roads, but such fun! Mr T was very informative and easy to talk to. A great morning out! Wicked photos too.

Absolutely the special tour we requested, with great communication and easy planning.
Best journey yet! We requested a tour of very specific sites, and the wonderful people are Raro Tours were happy to accommodate. They went way beyond any service we expected. The Raro Mountain Safari Tour people are kind, attentive, work very hard to please, and their communications from long before the tour until long after were five star! A huge thank you to everyone involved, especially a surprise visit by island dignitaries.

Fun activity to learn about Raro
We enjoyed our trip during the wet and rainy weather this month. A good activity even when the weather isn’t cooperating. They had to change the itinerary of the trip slightly (we didn’t get to go right up into the mountains) due to the wet weather for our safety. This was a bit disappointing but we appreciated them making safety a priority. We went with our 7 month old and had her in a baby carrier attached to me for the duration. There are no seatbelts and it can be bumpy so this felt safer than holding her. Would recommend for all ages, just make sure if you have young children that they can sit and hold on! We learned lots about the history and culture of Raro which was great.

This trip was fantastic and informative. The view from the mountain was breathtaking and wigmores waterfall was running as Rarotonga recently received rain. Rob our driver was funny, charismatic and full of knowledge. A definite must do when visiting Rarotonga.

So much better than expected. This was a great tour into the mountain and very informative about the history of the area. It was fun travelling in the back of a truck.

This has to be one of the best sightseeing tours. Our guide/driver was informative and friendly, answered all our questions and took us all over the island. I would highly recommend this tour

Interesting trip… Great views… However… A lot of misrepresentation on their brochure that I got from my hotel. On their brochure, it says the cost is $80 per person for adults.. which includes transfers and a barbecue lunch … the problem started when the actual owner of the company picked me up from my hotel and asked me for the fee, which I was told he would do… But he asked for $100 and said that’s the proper price when I challenged him about the brochure. Then a few hours later the Driver stopped in a town and pointed to a few restaurants and said we had 20 minutes to go buy our own lunch and eat and be ready to leave… This was a total rip off…
This company deserves this bad review… He’s got a lot to learn about how to treat clients …. Beware…!!!!!
