Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I shot pictures just like this with my phone, and even to the naked eye, it was EXACTLY this color. I've never seen anything like it.It was breathtakingly beautiful. Easy to pull over too once you're past the Sofitel on the right, and just take a few piccies.

this is a beautiful look out that is a must stop. You can take pictures here that look like a professional screensaver. For us it was perfect as we could see our own overwater bungalow from this vantage point. Definitely getting these pictures printed for display in our home.

This was a brief bonus stop on our shuttle ride to Hilton Resort from the Ferry Boat terminal. It was a serene and beautiful lookout viewpoint although we thought the ferry terminal was scenic already with its mountain peaks meeting the bay. Although this was a short five minute stop, it was very memorable. A great sneak peek of Moorea.

After you arrive on Moorea as you head around the island to the North, this is one of the first points to stop. It is definitely worth it. One of the most amazing views and really sets the stage for the rest of your time here. It might be tempting to drive but so make sure to add it to your list.

Short photo stops by the roadside. Very pretty with the view of the hotel with rooms above water. Wish we could stay there one of these days.

The lookout has a wonderful view of the Sofitel Moorea with its rooms over the water. There are also views of the lush tropical vegetation. A must see when touring the island.

Our driver from Albert's transportation stop here and allow us a 5 min to take pictures. This lookout gave us a taste of what's to come on our visit to Moorea

We preferred this one to the more accessible and more publicised Belvedere lookout, where views are frequently obscured by clouds. Toatea overlooks the thatched rooftops of overwater resort bungalows as well as the lagoon and neighbouring Tahiti. The lookout includes a sombre and moving memorial to an airline tragedy, 10 years ago.

This view is what dreams are made of and is a reflection (pun intended) of Tahiti at its best. Across the road is a art piece representing the island of Moorea. Just turn around 180 degrees and you have another photo op! Beware to get your pix before dusk as the mosquitos come out with a vengence!
