I arranged a boat tour for my partners birthday and we brought my son and another family. All of our minds were totally blown. It was absolutely a serendipitous and magical experience. Captain Louis and Jonathan were incredibly kind, professional and friendly. We saw dolphins, devil rays and turtles. The dolphins surrounded our boat and were raising themselves out of the water giving us a full-on show as we squealed and clapped for them. Then later the guys put out lines and caught a black tuna that they prepared it for us ceviche style. It was super delicious. A little later we just happened to see a Sailfish! Which totally happened by chance and was an amazing and very delightful experience. We finished off the trip with a snorkel in this really beautiful beach with cyan blue water, where we saw some really amazing fish and sea creatures, like octopus and pufferfish. As we were getting off the boat we immediately began talking about when we could do this again; either for an overnight trip or if we could manage to do this several times a year. (We have now since then been 5 times) We love and cherish this experience as a highlight and we have had a lot of really great adventures. I'm not sure where to start with this review as this trip could not have been scripted better. I booked the overnight trip with my longtime girlfriend with the hopes it would be the perfect setting to ask her to marry me. First let me say Geneva was an absolute pleasure to work with getting the trip booked and answering all of my questions via email and phone conversations. The trip was simply amazing! Sea turtles, dolphins and even a whale almost as they somehow magically planned each sighting just for us! Captain Luis and Mate Bismarck were simply on the top of there game. Both are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Luis truly loves to captain this boat and taught us a lot about sailing, the surrounding waters and landmarks. Bismarck can do it all, cook, make some mean drinks, plus coordinate all the water activities. Simply put they really enjoy their jobs and you felt as you've known them you r whole life. We have been traveling to Costa Rica for 10+ years and have done pretty much every tour, land and sea. This from stat to finish is one that we will never forget and our all time favorite!!…

There is a reason why Serendipity is rated #1. Captain Brad and crew are so knowledgeable and extremely competent and we felt safe in their hands. Three of us caught a fish while sailing and snorkeling was great. The cocktail selection was diverse and they kept our drinks full the entire trip. The food was DELICIOUS and accommodated for the two vegetarians in our group. It ended with a beautiful sunset as we sailed back to the marina. This private charter was such a special experience for our family that we will always remember. We highly recommend this charter!…

Our experience at Serendipity was excellent! We enjoyed every second of it and it was definitely our favorite moment from our trip to Costa Rica. Best way to start off the year, the food, drinks, vibe, and service was beyond amazing. Luis and Jonatan made us feel comfortable and welcome since the first minute and they took us to a private beach, snorkeling, and dolphin watching.
