We were lucky enough to get a guided tour by one of village guards, through the remnants of the traditional village behind the shops, including the temple and chiefs house. He told us about all the things that used to be there and how cov*d and mandates forced the villages to stay home. The shop tenants couldn’t afford rent and had to close up. The restaurant has fallen apart and needs a lot repairs. The jungle has practically taken over and with the village and buildings vacant the place has became a ruin. There’s a huge project to get it back up and running. With the new owner looking to put a McDonald’s and other western ideas into the location for “business”. Instead support the hard working locals and their traditions, they’re working hard for the little money they make and putting their hearts and souls into the project to bring it back to life. Support the locals shop here and buy what you can. Donate whatever you can. Help bring this place back to its former glory!

This area is very run down with very little to see. Work is being done on it but it is a huge job! One eatery which is good and a lovely jewellery shop but that is pretty much it.

Needs to be rebuilt as the place was almost deserted. There was one cafe open during the day a very grubby food market and a shop with rubbish clothes

Sad little shopping center. Hopefully this area will be brought back to life soon. We are told it used to be great. For now it just has a small market and a couple of small stores.., also an ATM.

There's a supermarket, several cafes, a few souvenir shops (limited opening times) and small dive shop that sells some random gear.

Best thing is Adorn Pacific Island Jewels and the cafes.

This area is very much in need of a facelift/rebuild. Many of the shops have no tenants etc. Vacancy rate of the tenancy seems to be increasing with even the bank closing

Sad to see the state of the arts village now as it is deteriorating with lots of hazards and needs a major renovation and something to bring this place back to its former glory.

A couple of souvenir shops, a supermarket, and a few food and drink providers. Nothing special worth making an effort to come here.

Went here on a cruise ship excursion. Great food, shopping and cultural exhibits.
They put on a fire walking show that was fantastic though perhaps a tad long at over
an hour.

We stumbled upon this place completely by accident and it turned out to be one of our favourite experiences in Fiji! A beautiful building - colourful and bright with a range of shops scattered around. We enjoyed browsing all the local goods and were lucky enough to chat with the locals and bought some beautiful clothes.
