We enjoyed having a shandy and a lemon squash (highly recommend) here after snorkelling, which was a great thirst quencher. Also we had a couple of wonderful themed BBQ's which we enjoyed very much. The service was really friendly and caring.

The MCYC is a beautiful outdoor bar right on the water under a huge traditional Fijian hut. It's a great place to meet other guests and visiting yachties and have a chat over a few drinks. You can also get pizzas or self-BBQ packs delivered from the resort cafe.

The annual regatta was on so the bay and marina were incredibly busy with numerous boats and lots of spectators. We visited twice, stopping both times at the nearby sand bar en route. During the regatta you’ll need to purchase a book of vouchers aka Musket bucks and exchange them for drinks. We ate here once and it was a really greasy pizza.

Great peaceful place stunning furnishings and ambiance. This place definitely hook in a different crowd of stayers. They serve up great cocktails🍹. The staff are super friendly and professional, the vibes are clam and relaxing.. It seems less busier and less noisier too 🙂

I was staying at Plantation Island Resort and we heard tales of a"sand bar" located past Musket Cove Resort. We decided to go in search of this bar and we are so glad we made the trek. This place is just what an island bar should be! Open air, sand floor, thatched roof and comfy seating. We wandered down to this bar several afternoons. They make an excellent MaiTai and some other drink that I can no longer remember the name of ( I obviously had one to many)!

They do not serve food so we stopped at the pink shack near the docks and got these amazing chicken curry meat pies and sausages in pastry. Don't skip this little pink shack, it's some of the best local eats! There's also a nice market here where we got cheese and crackers. We took all our food down to the bar and had ourselves a great time.

It was really great to find our own little "oasis" away from it all. There were few other patrons when we were there which was nice too. They stay open till 11pm which is great and they have good music playing.

They also have a great bathroom. One of the nicest "public" bathrooms I happened to use in Fiji. It's a 2 minute walk from the bar, but vey well kept!

It is a bar on an island surrounded by picnic style tables and chairs, bar stools, BBQ's - a great place to relax and enjoy the surroundings with family and friends. There was 15 of us and it was just perfect for something a little different.
You order your food in the morning and then pick it up to BBQ yourself. Plates and utensils are at the bar. You just have to get there and get your table and secure a BBQ and that's it. There plenty of food and the location was fantastic. The only thing they didn't have is condiments, which you could definitely use as there is a lot of meat to get through - so be sure to bring them, but that is all.

We came here after having lunch at the cafe. We wanted to have a drink while watching for our yacht charter to come to pick us up. There were lots of areas to sit and because it was late afternoon it wasn't crowded.

I ordered the pina colada which was ok. It wasn't blended, the pre-mixed base was poured over ice. I'm a little picky...I prefer my pina coladas blended so I wasn't thrilled with my drink. My son ordered their Midori slushy (I think that's what the name was) His too had the pre-mixed base (looked like the same one they used for the pina colada) that was put over ice with Midori. His was delicious! But again...not blended. My husband had a Bitter beer (one of the local beers) which was served cold, the way he likes it.

The prices seemed to be similar to those back in the US, around $12 US for our specialty drinks and about $4 US for a beer.

It seemed like the place where boaters would go to hang out with other boaters docked there for the night. It was fun over hearing some conversations of some of the voyages they were sharing with one another. So glad we chose the bar area to wait.
