We had a great time on the Fun boat during Spring Break 2021 and would recommend it to those looking for a nice outing on the bay with guaranteed dolphin sightings. We saw several dolphins and a beautiful sunset to top it off. The captain and deckhand were top notch, and the kids interactive session was fun too although our kids were teens.

Coach was our guide and he was AMAZING! Not only did he and Rusty find dolphins, but it was clear they knew all the dolphins in this particular pod. Coach also gave us information on some of the local ecosystems, waterways, and fun facts about dolphins and local celebrity homes. Coach was extremely engaging with all the kids both big and small. They even pulled up to a small shrimper boat and grabbed some of the dead catch to talk and teach about! Lastly, the kids got to hold and have their picture taken with a blue crab named “Crabigail!” Best money spent! This was a highlight of our vacation!

This was a spur of the moment decision to ride. Booked the night before online for the 9am next day and it was super simple with detailed plans sent to text and email. The ride was soothing and laid back with several opportunities to see dolphins in multiple areas. Captain Rusty and Deckhand Morgan were great! Morgan did great with all the kids on the boat,remembering each of their names and checking on them throughout the ride. Though we personally did not partake in the water war, it was entertaining watching from inside the boat. Cap'n and Morgan were right in the mix of it. I guarantee you will Enjoy!

I normally don't leave poor reviews. This time I have to. Where do we start? Let's start with the fact that the captain was drinking. He started the trip with a cold drink and soaking himself with a water hose. We then take off. 45 minutes later, we still haven't seen a dolphin. After a little over an hour, we finally see a few dolphins, chasing the other company's dolphin cruise boats. We literally sat in the ocean watching dolphins chase other boats from hundreds of yards away. The captain did give a feeble attempt to get us close, but his boat was no match for the big boats that were giving their guests what they paid for. There were NO water games. There was no crab pot pulled up. It was literally a shrimp and one crab in a bucket aboard the boat. The captain made a few unpleasant remarks about the other company. Don't be fooled by their Facebook reviews, they obviously delete anything under a 5 star rating. The only reason they got a 2 is because we didn't sink. Don't waste your money. Go with the company that offers $12 cruises, they'll show you a good time.

Why don't we start at the beginning. We are PROUD of the fact that we are the only dolphin cruise that doesn't ALLOW or SELL alcohol on our boats. We focus on families and fun. This is something we take very seriously. We make no bones about it! The "cold drink" you are referring to would be the captains homemade green tea that he makes himself. It is all organic and quite delicious. All the Deckhand's ask him to bring extra every day and he is happy to share. As a matter of fact, if you had asked him he would have given you some too and you would have asked for the recipe! Next, if you are in Orange Beach in the summer, you will figure out quickly that it is very hot. Who wouldn't want to soak down on a sweltering hot day?If you worked in the broiling sun all day, like captains in Orange Beach you would soak yourself with a waterhose as well. Sounds like some fun water games to us! We advertise that you will see dolphins and have a sealife experience. There were 2 mama dolphin and 2 newborn dolphins all around the boat on the day you went. This is quite an amazing thing to see and experience. You may never get to see that again. The captain wanted everyone to really get to enjoy newborn baby dolphin. The crab pot, well we had a crab already on the boat and you got to learn all about it and a live shrimp as well. Incredible! Lastly, trust us when we say, if we had the power to remove reviews, yours would be the first one to come off. The captains and crew work very hard to make sure our guest have a wonderful time! We are sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy your time with us. Best regards.

We went on this dolphin cruise today (2/7/21). We went on the 1:30pm cruise. It was AWESOME! Every one, the Captain, his wife and the tour guide (Winston, I believe) were all very enthusiastic and welcoming. Winston, was so knowledgeable, wow!! My kids and husband loved it, and I really loved it! We saw dolphins, lots of dolphins! We learned a lot. We felt safe the whole time (8 and under is required to wear a life jacket) which was perfect. The adults weren’t required to, which I appreciate. The boat didn’t go at high speeds or anything like that. It mostly was slower speeds and watching the dolphins in the bay. The boat was nice and was clean. Winston pulled up a trap that had shrimp and blue crab in it. He was very knowledgeable about those too and we got to hold them too. I would HIGHLY recommend THIS cruise to anyone!

I schedule this dolphin cruise with this company because they had a No Alcohol policy on the boat. Coach did an amazing job entertaining our group and was full of facts about the dolphins. Captain drove the boat to the best place to see the dolphins and was able to get the dolphins to run with the boats. Highly recommend this adventure if you are in the area!

We had a great afternoon! We saw a ton of dolphins, including many baby dolphins. The captains were entertaining and taught the kids alot about the sea life. All of the kids could hold a blue crab and the water fight against the other Fun Boat was awesome! We would definitely visit again if come back to Alabama.

Honestly the first review I have ever composed in my life, and I am only doing it because we were absolutely blown away with how amazing this experience was. The two deck hands (both nicknamed Coach) were absolutely incredible and made this a family experience none of us will forget. They were perfect with the kids, while also having so much knowledge and humor that the adults were held at attention and amused the entire time as well.

We go on this cruise every year and Captain Dean is always changing it up. You cannot get a sunset cruise for rock bottom prices like this one. He is funny and engages with everyone from age 6 months to a foot in the grave. The kids love it and you will see dolphins. In addition, he will pull up marine life and explain things to the kids. It ends with an epic water gun fight. Cannot wait to go again and he has watched my kids grow!

Coach was super nice and very informative. He made sure everyone was taken care of during the tour and that the kids had fun. The boat was super hot though- the only covered portion was inside the cabin. The views were beautiful for the adults but the kids were very tired by the time we found the dolphins. Luckily they bucked back up once we found them. They also loved holding the sea life and the water war with the other boat.

Can you accommodate someone in a wheel chair

Hey there. If the person is able to get out of chair, step up 2 steps and 2 steps down into boat then we are able to put chair on boat. We do not have a ramp to board boat.

How do you enter and exit the boat? Do you have to swing your leg up over the edge? Would a person with a walker be able to get on and off fairly easy?

There is 2 steps up to get on the boat and 2 steps down. There is a handrail to hold onto. As long as you would be ok doing this, then the walker would be fine.
