Choose to "GET WET" or "STAY DRY" on one of our private excursions. 1.5 to 3 hour wave runner tours! 1.5 to 4 hour boating packages. Each package is customizable and can include; sandbar stops with swimming and relaxation, lunch, dinner, tubing, Blue Angels practices, and paddle boarding. Although we didn't actual get to do the tour I need to let everyone know of the effort and top notch customer service offered by the Private Dolphin Tours team. We were to go on the sunset dolphin cruise, but the day turned rainy towards the time of the trip. The crew constantly monitored the weather in hopes of finding a window to take us out. We could not reschedule due to our own time conflicts although the crew offered as many options to try and help us as possible. In the end there seemed to be a window with only light rain. We were offered a refund or a chance to go out and see if the weather would hold. We chose to give it a try and head out. Less than 15 minutes later the weather turned for the worse and we had to head to the dock for safety reasons. This crew was drenched from trying to get us on this tour and they never complained. They also offered a full refund which I received the very next day. This crew went above and beyond and I thank all three of them. I will definitely sign up for another cruise when I return to the area and recommend anyone coming to Orange Beach to reach out and schedule a tour with these guys.

This was the most amazing experience. I’m not sure where to start……..firstly the captain was incredible! He was so knowledgeable, kind, always put safety first, fun, and a true joy! He went out of his way to be sure we enjoyed every aspect of the experience. While he does not guarantee seeing dolphins for obvious reasons- he knew exactly where to go for the beat odds and we must have seen 25 dolphins. They were beautiful and he taught us so much about them, he spoke about the area, and just general knowledge while on the water. The jet ski experience was such a thrilling time. The captain and first mate team help you navigate the jet ski and when you are comfortable you get to go exploring on your own. The tubing pulled by the jet ski, driven by the captain was the best tubing experience we’ve ever had. He always made sure we were laughing, bouncing around, but always with safety first. Lastly, the boat, jet skis, life jackets, tube- everything was in great condition and beautifully maintained. The captain was always checking the weather in real time to put safety above everything else. The only bad part of the entire experience was when it ended. We will most definitely be back! Truly an amazing day!

Michael did a fantastic job of leading us on the tour! We saw lots of dolphins and it took us on the race track, which was so much fun. This jet skis tour what is the best tour we have ever been on and we would highly recommend. Adrian also did a great job of getting us ready for the tour.

Wow! Wow! Wow! We had such a great time! The package we booked included jet skis. So much fun just riding the jet skis but then to be only a couple feet from the dolphins was over the top! My family including 2 small grandkids LOVED the whole experience...boating, jet skis, tubing & dolphins! What more could you want? The private experience was worth everything. They catered to what we wanted to experience and let us determine how we wanted to spend the 3 hours. The crew was knowledgeable & fun. We absolutely 100% recommend them. You won’t regret it!!

Went out today and created great family memories with great pictures to remember it all. Started out looking for dolphins then went to a nice place to swim let the kids (adult kids) jet ski and did some tubing. When your 6 year old gets done with her first time tubing ever and says.... that was EPIC! You know it’s a great time! Adrian and Billy are kind and full of information. It is a bit pricey to have the time just for you and your guests/family so totally up to preference.

We wanted a nice relaxing sunset ride to see dolphins and that's exactly what we got. No huge groups, no dealing with other people, no struggling to see what's going on. Just a close view of dolphins in the wild. Captain Billy is an expert dolphin spotter and we got to see several groups of dolphins including a couple of mothers with babies!
The sunset view of the bay was lovely and we saw several local fishermen out on their boats. Captain Billy gave interesting information about the dolphins, and the local area. This is definitely a recommended trip and I'm already thinking about how soon we can come back again. Thank you for a fantastic evening!

Wow! Captain Bill was fantastic. Within 5 minutes of leaving the dock we spotted dolphins. Such a treat for the kids and adults. The boat was the perfect size for our family and Captain Bill gave a smooth ride around the area with plenty of dolphin sightings. We enjoyed our afternoon on the water immensely and learned so much about the area. Highly recommend Captain Bill and Orange Beach Family Dolphin Tours.

We have been vacationing in the Perdido Key/Orange Beach area for almost 10 years. My son’s god parents booked us for a private excursion for his birthday and I can not recommend it enough. Our captain Adrian was both informative and kind and made sure our trip was memorable. His assistant Michael was so much fun even tubing with my eleven year old! The boat ride was beautiful and we all had a blast tubing and riding the wave runners all the while getting some education on dolphins. Adrian took us out on wave runners and we ended up riding parallel to two dolphins. Words can’t describe the beauty of that moment and it’s something my family will never forget!
I highly recommend a private tour as you just can’t get this experience with large commercial tours. Thank you for making memories we won’t soon forget!

We did a short wave runner excursion with Maddie at the helm. She was outstanding and I felt assured right out of the gate that we made a good choice in choosing this local business to go see dolphins and wildlife with. Our time was efficiently used with no unnecessary stops. The kids loved it as did we. We will be back and we’re considering another day before we go home. Thanks again to Maddie and the rest of the team at Barefoot for a great day.

We chose this tour because we were looking to distance ourselves from large crowds during the pandemic. This worked out great because we had the boat to ourselves and could enjoy the experience with just our family. Our guide was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. We really enjoyed the sunset dolphin cruise

I called to try to book for a Saturday. I was told there are no tours on Satuday due to state law and the call was ended. Why do I see other tours/boat rentals/jetski rentals etc all have appointments available on Saturday & Sunday? What law is keeping you from renting on the weekends?

We have a family of 6--4 adults and 2 children (7 & 11), and we took the 2 1/2 hour tour. We put down half on a credit card. We paid the second half in cash, and for this we got a discount. The total we paid was $710 which included re-fueling and our gratuity. We have never booked an excursion that was this expensive before, but we feel that it was worth it.

Yes We are Private Discovery Excursion Co. We take very special care to have activities that help keep that age group engaged . Since we are a private excursion company and you pay for the privacy and charter,our crew is not shared by 60 to 100 other quests and thier 3 year olds while on board on your family's cruise with us. It just your family :)
Cost are based on type of discovery excursion for a 3 year old we have seversl options in category A and details have not been released to Captains . ( The office is Closed for the Off Season ) Im the Capt. on Stanby and have limited information.
However Reservations are open from 9am to 4pm and they have the info you need.
(We have asked for correction on hours of operation from Trip Advisor and hope to see changes online soon from them.)

Adrian, Last August my family and I enjoyed your boat ride, waterskis and tubing! You may remember us my husband was from Peru and we had a great experience. We are coming back this August and would like to have my husband's family experience the fun too. Problem is there are a lot of us about 20 is there any way you could accommodate that many? We had so much fun last year!
