The homes can be viewed from your car. They go on for blocks with tons of different architectural styles. The old town area is great, with many merchants and a restaurant or two. We look forward to enjoying and exploring this area again.

Historic Decatur is a lovely place for a nice walk on a sunny day. The homes are spectacular and the people are very friendly. They wave and actually talk to you from their porches if they are outside! Download the pocketsights app on your phone,...More

Carnegie Carnival runs down the streets of Downtown Decatur, and it is a blast!! Family friendly with a world class mardi gras experience. Plus we got to walk and look at these amazing homes that surround downtown. I will be back

We drove down one unique street after another. The homes are so well maintained and stately. They range from 3 story to bungalows.. What a treat.
