This architectural wonder looks like an enormous lotus blossom, reminiscent of the Sydney Opera House. Too bad the interior isn't even worth a look.

The most interesting thing I found about this place was the description of the Bahia religion on a stone at the entrance. Note you need to take your shoes off and the stones can be hot so you might want socks.

It's Sydney Opera House meets the Big Prawn. New, not particularly inspiring and full of rules about how and where to walk. No walking in the gardens by the way. Museum is quite interesting but not worth the long hike from the station.

Although travelling with my adult daughter to India I visited Lotus Temple alone as she was over seeing sights. This is really inspiring piece of architecture - calm and relaxing. It was well sign posted and easy to navigate. I did not have a guide....More

Can you imagine a religion without a God or a temple without a God! Bahai seems to be that religion and Lotus temple is one such temple. Beautifully architected and built, provides a calm space to find inner peace or one's own self. A must-see...More

The queue was extremely long. Seemed like 3 hours of waiting at least. We decided it’s not worth the time, didn’t enter the temple.

Thoroughly enjoyed the serene simplicity of the service provided, despite the queue and inpatient locals whose only aim was to speed in and out of the Temple.

Hi, Unsure as the taxi dropped us at the entrance and we had to walk a short distance down the road to pick it back up and it was just on the road side. Sorry I can’t be more helpful but i can’t remember seeing a car park.

Dear Marktay16 You need to be at the airport 3 hrs prior to your flight time. This takes an hour to drive from the airport depending upon the traffic. you might not want to miss your flight.
