The most interesting thing I found about this place was the description of the Bahia religion on a stone at the entrance. Note you need to take your shoes off and the stones can be hot so you might want socks.
It's Sydney Opera House meets the Big Prawn. New, not particularly inspiring and full of rules about how and where to walk. No walking in the gardens by the way. Museum is quite interesting but not worth the long hike from the station.

Unsure as the taxi dropped us at the entrance and we had to walk a short distance down the road to pick it back up and it was just on the road side.
