This is very ancient temple, where alcohol is given as prasad (A devotional offering made to a god, typically consisting of food that is later distributed among the devotees present in the place of worship).

I visited Baba Bhaironath Temple out of curiosity after I came to know that liquor is the prasad here. Quite unique. No wonder, people throng to receive the prasad!

Beautiful temple of Lord Bhairon Nath ji. Built by the Pandavas. It is adjacent to Purana Quila. It attracts lot of ddvotees. He is known to protect the devotees from evil spirits, impact of Rahu and Ketu. Alcohol is offered to the Lord.

"Bhairo" is hindu's deity and it is believed if one doesn;t visit Bhairo Temple after Vaishno Goddess the pilgrimage of the prayer is not complete. This place is full of beggers who will beg for the liquor you offered as a prasad. I am surprised...More
