I recently stayed at western Court and had to stay at Delhi for three night. . Couple of noticeable things about Western court, its a very old building with very minimum luxuries. Lets start with the positives

This is located within walking distance to Connaught Place and is cheap place to spend few nights. But you can only get a room on recommendation of some VIP (read ministers). The con is, rooms are not that well maintained, but then hey what else...More
Stayed here for over a month. Requires networking to ensure the rooms are booked well in advance. Certainly gives a different experience in terms of the ambiance.

The Western Court is historical . Shri Motilal Nehru and other freedom fighters stayed here . This accommodation is meant for Ministers, Member of Parliaments and their guests . With 78 rooms only , this is a much sought after 'power status' accommodation .
