Really enjoyed seeing the baby turtles. The eggs are harvested and re buried in the sand and baby turtles released into the sea. Caring conservationists.

Good deal of varieties of turtles and associated info, although the pools could be better maintained. Gift shop in a somewhat opportunistic mode at the time of our visit.

We visited the hatchery during the off season. We could pick up baby turtles and participated in setting approx. 30 turtles into the sea during our visit. Great experience and recommendable

It was great experience to watch sea turtles at hikkaduwa. You must visit this place if you travel in sri lanka. You may visit lots of baby turtles and can get all information about thire life circle.

The centre is to protect the turtles and is a govt approved orgn.
