This was one of the most wonderful sights I’ve been lucky enough to see with my own eyes. A full grown male bear in its natural habitat.
We contacted the rangers in the national park and arranged a walk to the bear hide. He took...More
I spent 4 days in the park and had a wonderful time. There’s some really lovely hiking, and going in September meant the weather was perfect and the park was pretty quiet! The highlight was definitely driving to the famous canyon and seeing Bosnia across...More
It'a really beautiful and interesting national park with special flora if you see well around with great view point to visit. You should take at least two days to visit around. We had a great daily tour to view point with GREAN BEAR Company, which...More
This gorgeous mountain range located in Southern Serbia is extremely beautiful and tranquil. We hitchhiked from Tara Hill top to view point near the lake. The view enroute are breathtaking and the people are warm and friendly!
We drove here and parked on the dirt road just 5 minutes from the banjska stena top. We had intended to do a walk for 30 minutes but turned out the place we chose to park was pretty close to the summit.

We stayed in Zlatibor where there are many hotels and holiday homes to choose from but it's about an hour and a quarter drive to Lake Zaorvine in the heart of Tara park. If you want to be closer then I believe that there is a hotel in Perucac which is a village in the valley below Tara and is about half an hour drive from the Lake. There are also many holiday rentals around Perucac and Bajina Basta which are available online.
