My son had a very similar experience with Caspar Dama, he is a dishonest man. PNG is a fantastic country...please don't spoil it by booking Caspar Dama!

Goroka show...amazing. Local tribes compete on a yearly dance and costume festival that is just of other planet. 2 days of dances, from mud people to canibals, just amazing. Be ready to take 500 pictures or more...and the best thing...we were only 200 tourists..awesome

Awesome festival where all the tribes from the area compete against each other every year. Excellent venue to get in touch with the local aborigines and take amazing pictures. Safe, cheap and extremely photographic

If you need a personal guide while in the Highlands (based in Goroka) I can recommend Caspar Dumar. He is a local and can organise stays in villages, transport etc. He is trustworthy, I found him on the net and during negotiations for his help...More
