We are a family of 4 and spent 2 nights at the desert camp. The family tent was spacious and had plenty of room. The bathrooms were a short walk away and very clean and functional. We arrived right after sunset and had a delicious dinner and a fire with Salem afterwards. Our first night was cold, but they made sure we had warm blankets and we were comfortable sleeping in the tent. The next day we did a full day tour. When we woke up, it was actually raining. We were not prepared for rain in the desert and Francis kindly gave us trashbags we could use as ponchos. Luckily the rain stopped not long after, and we had a great tour for the day. Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. Wadi Rum is a beautiful place! That night we had a traditional bbq and another fire after dinner with plenty of tea. The next morning we rode camels out to meet our driver. There are many camps in Wadi Rum. We would recommend this camp because the location is beautiful. Salem was very welcoming. Salem and Francis also had great communication throughout our booking. Thanks for the great family memories!…

We had a wonderful experience! We did an afternoon tour with a night at the camp. The guide Salem knew a lot about the desert since he is born there, good English and fun conversations! Also the hospitality at the camp Was great. There was good food and tea and a nice camp fire!

We tried 2 nights in the desert: this was an amazing experience everybody must try! During the first day you go in some famous places in the desert with a guide and his jeep, he gives you some historical general informations. We did about 8 to 10 stops in different places with many hikes (we asked to stop far away for that reason, walking into the peaceful desert is something amazing!). At the camp we saw the sunset and of course there was always a cup of tea. During the second day we went to Jebel Al Hash to hike (it was extremely easy hike, we did it in 40' one way) and to see the highest mountain of Jordan, and of course Saudi Arabia border. When we went back to the jeep the guide started to prepare a lunch in the middle of the desert in Bedouin style, it was delicious! Because of the easy hike we asked him to hike a little bit more so he left us in other 3 places from where we hiked about 40' each time, this was an amazing experience because we saw goats and camels! At the camp every evening they made Bedouin BBQ for dinner, cooked for 2h under the sand, so yummy! After dinner there's also some time spent near the fire talking with Bedouins about their culture and the power of camel's milk, very interesting! If you are a stargazer you can spend all night long watching the stars in a way you certainly haven't done before! I've seen 8 shooting stars in 2 nights! The tents are comfy and cleaned, as well as the bathrooms and the shower! This experience is very very recommended!! …
