Amir Chakhmagh is most beautiful at night, when it is illuminated. The square around is well designed and preserved. It has a big pond with fountains and garden beds with flowers.

Nice in late afternoon/ evening... kebab sellers and falafels can be find under the complex. On the square you can see the culture of the place with locals walking around, getting tea or ice cream. Yazdi Filoodeh can be found in the ice cream spot.....More

Interesting building and squere but that is it. Nice place for afternoon relax and taking some photos. There are big letters YAZD in front of it - proof you have been to Yazd.

If you search in google about yazd you should see photo of this palce in page . you should see amir chakhmagh if you travel to yazd.status in old town.fahadan alley,eskandar prison and old bazaar near in there.

It is a main historical square from goorkanian era.included bazzar mosque and cistern.used for ceremonies.

There are some places in it and good to visit. There is a wooden structure in this square which belongs to the past and have been used just in certain days in ashura ( religious event). there is a short bazar with nice shops but...More
