The square of amir chakmakh right in the heart of Yazd, you can find many sweet shops and ice cream shops around the square. When the dawn has come, many locals visit the square just to hangout.

If you find the chance to visit yazd, i will recommend you to visit amir chakhmagh which is the symbol of yazd. It is located near baazar and center,so you can both see this place and the rest of traditional places in yazd.

The symmetry in combination with the water in front of the building creates a magnificent picture opportunity by sunset and nights. Also a nice square to meet the locals. And don't forget to buy some cookies at the bakery on the left at the intersection.

Amir Chakhmagh is most beautiful at night, when it is illuminated. The square around is well designed and preserved. It has a big pond with fountains and garden beds with flowers.
