Hugh monolith right in the centre of the city. Currently being restored. Was interesting but I am not sure it deserves a must see title. Currently there is no information at the site except maybe in Farsi to explain its historical significance.

Last remnant of a 14th centuty citadel. The view is seriously damaged by a big car park and an oversized Mosque.

An old nice architecture which have not got enough attention of Mayer ! It s in shadow of another new huge building now which is for praying ! It sounds they didn't care enough for that ;(

It seems after the revolution the opera house closed to it ( where which the great new mosque and praying area is recently built) , was demolished and it had nearly survived the same destiny .
