A fun motorbike ride up the mountain to take in pretty views of Vung Tau! You'll also pass several stalls/roadside vendors if you'd like to enjoy a refreshment.

In fact there's not much to do in Vung Tau city but if you love the beach -which I do- and the views from a hill under a tree, relaxing and enjoying a book on my e-book. In that case, Vung Tau is great! :)

At the foot of the hill, you can rent a bike to take you up the hill. It's a windy road up with lots of motorbike as it was a public holiday there. Along the way, there's small stalls on the side selling refreshments and...More

Actually, I just love this place at night when the city has alots spots of light. It is absolutely spectacular. The way going up to the lighthouse, is not too difficult to go. However, you should be more careful at night because of bends and...More

My friend took me there to give me a birthday surprise . Very lovely scenery during the night. But we cannot come in to the lighthouse. We only paid parking, 30.000 dong , if i’m not mistaken.

Great location to add insight about history of Vietnam. Recommend to visit this place when you visit Ho Chi Minh.

A little stall at the top sells simple refreshments but is not always open. The constant birdsong is recorded, apparently to attract real birds, of which there are more lower down the hillside. The lighthouse works but isn't open to visitors so all you can...More

In the guide book it says it's military land and when we asked the locals they said no you can't so you have to walk on the main road to the lighthouse which is the long way round, which is what we ended up doing.
