These 2 small buildings are to worship their first and second emperors - who aren’t even buried in the premises. To the westerner, this little bit of history isn’t worth paying for. If you go without a tour guide to explain anything, you’ll be doubly...More

It was a good place for a short stop on the way. We might have enjoyed it a little more if we read the history beforehand. There were series of old temples and gates.

This temple complex is where the Linh dynasty Kings are worshipped. The entrance is through a bridge spanner ng a huge pond filled with beautiful pink water lilies. Stone creations of the four sacred animals worshipped are around the complex...the dragon symbolising power, the unicorn,...More

The setting of the two temples for King Dinh and King Le is impressive. It takes about two hours to go around both temples and the nearby grounds and archaeological findings. Ninh Binh itself is beautiful.

We didn’t have a guide here and we just didn’t understand the fuss around this place. We actually found it quite boring and not impressive....

The temples of King Dinh and King Le was an ok visitor site with nothing very spectacular. As illustrated by the photos below, it was just a visit to two temples.

There’s really nothing to see here. There are two small temples with barely any signage. I’m sure a guide could help with to explain the history but visually there’s nothing of interest to see even with a guide. Definitely would skip this.

So, a lot of the recent reviews are pretty negative. I can totally see the validity of the complaints that this is a relatively small attraction and that it costs. But, 40,000 dong or 50,000 dong is a little more than USD 2. So, this...More

If you are a history buff maybe this is for you. But I was underwhelmed. Hard to tell whats original ruins and whats real. 50k entrance fee into a certain part, not really worth it as it looks EXACTLY the same as the other temples....More
