Myself and my partner decided to venture out here and it was worth the hype. Pretty cool entrance and once you’ve climbed the steps to the temple, go behind and you’ll find a giant cave which leads to another temple. Really cool place overall and...More

Interesting temple with a cave behind it. Beware of toilet at the parking area. It has no running water or cubicles between each squatting toilet. The old lady will yell at you to pay 10k Dong when you exit. We ended up only giving 5k....More

Nice when in the area and when you have some time left to spend, not worth much more. Disliked the very obnoxious people at the entrance gate. Trying to sell things in a way we have (luckily) not experienced at other places in Vietnam. Also...More

This is a great place to go and see, lovely surroundings and views a bit of a climb up but not hard. worth going to see it. The only negative point to add is we arrived with bikes and were promptly told we had to...More

I went past this on the way to the bird park and it’s definitely worth calling in on. The ancient pagoda is nestled in some stunning scenery. 50,000vnd to park your bike

Interesting place to check out if you’re cruising around Ninh Binh. I especially enjoyed the pagoda that is dug into the side of the cave. It was cool to walk behind it through the cave and around to the top. I read that you can...More

The signs say don’t climb on the rocks after the path stops. I can neither confirm nor deny that we climbed on the karst limestone, but let me say that if one were to do this, be careful if it starts raining. It may be...More

It's free and it's gorgeous. All a bit run down too but that sort of adds to the mystery and different worldly feel of the place. Less than an hour is fine but you could spend longer if you want to take it all in....More

If you are going to the Bird Valley, do drop by this Bich Dong Pagoda. Pretty small place. Most iconic would be the little bridge to the main gate that you will see if everyone’s posts. Other than that, there is a small temple at...More

A temple in the mountains on three levels. Requires some steep climbing but the serene atmosphere is refreshing. However the sights pale in comparison to what you have at Mua cave. If you see lot of buses, avoid the place. This temple has some steep...More

You can get a scooter taxi just go to any shop or you'll see them ask if you need one on the roadside once you get off the boat) but of course bargain, hard as it's not that far.

There may be a closing time for visitors like 6pm, I am not sure. There is, what looked like a 4 star hotel on site so access at night may be limited to hotel guests. Sorry cannot be more helpful.
