We spent 5 days in Sukhothai and went here for one of them. The place is amazing. Truly as good as, if not better than Sukhothai. Though it is different - much more lush and quiet. It's an amazing place. A great feel about it....More

Rode the 50 kms to here from Uttaradit, I found this site better than Sukhothai Park, and the structures more intact. The information at each of the temples/buildings was informative with each site named and QR Coded for mobile phone links. Roughly 14th Century the...More

This place doesn't get as many visitors as Sukhothai, as it's much farther off the beaten track. In fact, when we got there with our kids we were the only farangs "non-Thai" people there! The ruins are lovely and in a beautiful green setting. The...More

Amazing visit in Si Satchanalai Historical Park Really appreciated the quietness and the no-car visit. Riding a bike is really the best way to explore this. The area is very well maintained.

The path around the park is level and flat, put you won't be able to get into the actual temples, nor the mountain top. The path goes right next to the ruins though. And it's beautiful. Go for it!
