Similan island won’t be open yet by the time you come to Phuket. Normally it opens November. This time of the year, the water is rough but if you wish to go for snorkeling, i would suggest to go to Phi Phi island by Ferry... More

To my knowledge the tour to the Similian Islands only leaves from Phuket. Therefore you would have to fly, go by bus or by car to Phuket. Phuket is 844 km from Bangkok. Flying time 1 hour 10 minutes. By road 11 hours 17... More
