These falls are good and not too touristy but ONLY accessible on foot. It takes 2 hours each way over some quite challenging terrain. Use hiking sandals as you have to cross the river about 30 times.
You can swim in the fall and because...More
It is currently rainy season and we were really unsure if we would be safe doing this hike. We decided to go for it and turns out it was the best decision ever! It was a true reminder that a lot of the best activities...More
Takes about 2 hours each way, but well worth it!! The hike is beautiful, you’ll see plenty of wildlife along the way. Wear shoes you don’t mind getting wet, honestly water shoes would be best as you cross the stream maybe 20 times each way....More
This is a beautiful activity for a day out in Pai. Once you cross the bridge heading out of the town you will see signs to make a left and drive along the canal to the parking area. When I was there a number of...More

It's a long way to get to the waterfall, so it's better to start early. The hike itself is very nice. There is steep climb just before you reach the waterfall. Haven't seen any spiders or snakes there.
I started the hike at 10:15 and arrived at the waterfall around 12:30. But during the walk I stopped a couple of times to take pictures. Realy a nice active to enjoy the nature and to get away from everything. To only people you see,...More

The trek starts right outside of Valhalla, which is a small bar/hammock spot to chill and sleep at. You can Google both Valhalla and the hiking trail, but it is probably easier to find Valhalla and then go from there. Once at Valhalla, you will go to the left up a small dirt path and that is where the trail starts. Most of it is very well marked off, but with all of the river crossings, some of the trail is a bit more difficult to find. Just don't panic and go up along the river if you feel you are off the path at any point, you will find the connections. Not sure how much water is in April, but the hike itself is quite fun.
