We saw this on the boat trip we did along the river. Almost missed the reclining buddha in one of the ruins at the back of the complex so keep your eyes open.

This is a very peaceful wat. You can enter the main building up steep steps and see the remains of the Buddha. There are bats in this room and it is quite smelly. You can hear the bats chirping the Buddha itself is being restored....More

Had seen it while going around Ayutthaya but no easy route to it by road so boat trip quicker and easier way to visit. Couldn't find the entrance, but boatman pointed us in the right direction, passed the toilets. Interesting entrance and the Prang itself...More

This is a rarely visited Wat so we were lucky that our hotel was on the other side of the river. This was beautiful to see at sunrise as the birds were just beginning to wake.

We visited this as the first one as this is far from the other temples in town. This one is very impressed and soo beautiful. Made me think of the Ayutthaya history.
