Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The first lake you meet when entering this park is Kozjak. This one is the second one during your walk on these wooden trails.
It is as beautiful as the other ones and can't be missed.
Hope you'll have a better weather than we had in September so your pictures be better (and more colorful/contrasted)

If you're entering at Gate 2--and taking the short ferry across to the Upper Lakes area--this will be your second lake. Just as pretty and clear as the rest in the park, though the boardwalk can get a bit congested here depending on what time you go (midday and afternoon).

You still have eyes popping when you encounter Gradinsko, it is a superb area with what becomes a series of sighs as you continue. But this lake sticks in your memory & hopefully the photos equally impress your friends.
I believe it is one of the very few (only?) lakes where the limestone/travertine rock of its floor, is visible with a whitish sheen. Most of the Plitvice Lakes have a Sedra or tufa deposit on their bottom. Regardless the waters are truly aquamarine blue.

You are walking on the wooden planks when you see Grandinsko. If you are a photographer there are some really nice shots here.

you must visit these lakes and waterfalls they are simply breathtaking. you have a raised wooden walk way to guide you around the lakes so you dont erode the parks floor. take a picnic and make a day of it

Part of the Upper lakes part of the Park. Entrance NO 2, less crowded but still beautiful. Gradinsko got its name after ‘gradina‘ which in Croatian means ‘old fortified town‘ which once rose on the hill . n the central part of the lake, on about 2 meters under the surface, you can see yellow shadows of a flooded barrier as well as another two flooded barriers at the very end of narrowest part of the lake. They remind us of the fact that this lake was once made by at least two different lakes separated by barriers. The white/milky colour of the lake is locally called “bjelar” (meaning ‘white‘), which is actually travertine mud patches not yet covered by aquatic plants. Walking around here you will also notice numerous ducks as this is their favourite nesting area.Go to Plitvice I guarantee you wont regret a visit.

Running out of words to describe the lakes and waterfalls here! I loved being able to look into the water and see the fish so clearly.

part od the big plitvice lake. very nice and cool. it is not an isolated lake, once u enter to see the plitvic u see this as part of the lake with other lakes too. very nice clean and well maintained. u can walk beside the lake side walk ways or can take some rides as a whole. nice experience must do in plictiv.

We were fortunate to have been here on a beautiful sunny day. The sunlight playing on the sides and bottom of the lake created unforgettable memories.

Take your time and don't let yourself get bothered by how many people are here - it's peaceful even with the tour bus crowds! Just be careful on the rickety boardwalks (good shoes a must!)
