It is just a store at the end of the day

It is a store and a musuem. Most of the museums in Gramado and Canela are really orientated to kids so it is not that recomendable if you dont travel with kids.

Best part: tasting lots of chocolate varieties!

The museum itself is okay- a little expensive but it is located in the Center of all the activity. There are interesting chocolate sculptures around and they are well maintained (but a little dusty!) The best part of the tour is the end when you can taste multiple chocolates the company makes and then go buy them. Awesome!

i went to gramado and i like so much, there is achocolate museum and the sculptures are perfect , the chocolate is delicius. City looks like Europe, there have typical dances and many chocolate shops. i like so much to visit Gramado

Mediocre, not worth the visit. I paid 35 reais to see medium chocolate sculptures and not being able to take pictures in the last room where they have the sculptures of Egypt. Pictures on this room are charged separately.

Great place, fantastic deco, excellent service and very fast service. The cafe is a vey nice place for a break, the sweets are delicious. A sto woth making!!! The hugh chair are really funny and give a special touch for the place.

You will love the seats.

The seats are crazy high like giants seats and they make an adult look small. We went for the hot chocolate, waited ages for a table, even longer for our drinks due to the really strange service order; one man finds your waiter, he takes your order, and then another brings your order and another, your bill. It seemed like there was only one person taking orders to the table, every table and he was definitely overworked and exhausted. I hoped he didn1t flake out before he brought ours. My hot chocolate was actually chocolate flakes in hot milk so not what I wanted. The portions were too small for the price. The children weren't interested in seeing the museum, not because of the queues but they would rather eat the sculptures than look at them.

Interesting sculptures made of chocolate

Very well laid out chocolate sculptures of famous worldwide sites. Nice tasting bit at the end. Commentary all in Portuguese but managed ok without speaking the language.
