Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Interesting to take some pictures of these big parrots. Children found it fun but besides that, nothing special at all. There's more to see in the city.

Araras Square is a really pretty square with 3 huge araras. They are one of the things that represents the state of Mato Grosso do Sul, and Brasil, so it's good to check it out.

Former tourist spot of Campo Grande and marked my childhood when I lived there. The place seems a little forgotten because it is dirty and a quick cleaning of the place would already return the beauty that depicts one of the birds symbols of the pantanal.

This park isn't really maintained; it has an impressive statue (if that is the right word?) of 3 macaws. The rest is sort of junky and not very clean. However, in an old dead tree on the edge of the park there are 2 macaws that seem to be paired up and live there. They are very cool to see and they appear to be happily ensconced in the trunk. It probably isn't worth making a special effort to go here, but it was only a block or so from my hotel so I went by here frequently during a recent trip to MS.

This is a special landmark for Campo Grande since you'll find these araras flying all over the place on a daily basis. A group of them actually lives near the statues, which are a great spot to chill with friends and take some pictures.
