It's a small yet very fulfilling museum. I went around seeing all exhibitions and spent more than 2 hours there. It was also pretty interesting because I had no idea there were many pre-historic settlings in BiH.
There is an excellent exhibit from prehistory until 1878. Then, things are a little mixed with big gaps. They have a good exhibit on the WWII Croatian fascist Ustase government. But the exhibit on Yugoslav resistance to the Nazis has no English description. Also, there...More
Some interesting items from early history and then cultural costumes. A large amount about WW2 and the atrocities, but seemed more in general rather than the region. Nothing concerning recent history, I expect due to the sensitivities of this subject.
