Arrived ~20 minutes before 5PM, their stated closing time. The owner waved me away saying they were closed with no explanation. If you close before 5, your hours should reflect that.

Easy and convenient service, bikes not for large people. We took the bikes with gears, not supermodels but OK since distances are short in Kamakura.

I didn't notice any kids bikes but you can try. We rode along the streets and felt safe but no helmets in Japan . Hope this helps. It's a gorgeous place.
