Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

It looks great in pictures but it's a very short ropeway and view is not that spectacular. There really is nothing to see on top besides the Music Box Museum which is really small.

If you are a landscape lover, it's one of the best way to enjoy the landscape of Hamanako Lake in Hamamatsu. Take the ropeway from Hamamatsu PalPal, and enjoy the landscape while moving to Hamanako Music Box Museum.

Considering that this is the one and only ropeway over a lake in all of Japan, this is a must do while you’re in Hamamatsu. The view from inside the cart is spectacular, and you can take in a 360 degree view of much of the Lake and beyond.

It was my first time visited this place. Even the weather was cloudy but I really enjoyed the scenery around. It was such an amazing experience.

What a magnificent view from a cable car. Traveled from Hamanako Pal Pal to Hamanako Orgel Museum. It was an amazing experience! ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Good place to have some fun in Hamamatsu.
The view from the ropeway is awesome and there's an small museum on the top of the mountain with some vintage musical instruments.

It's not very long and the people in the car can block some of the view but it's still a beautiful ride. It's not a destination itself but it's a great way to get over to the museum.

The ropeway and the Orgel Museum was amazing. I got the full/free pass for a reasonable amount and was able to enjoy the rope way, museum and amusement park. If you like classical music you’ll love the Orgel museum experience.
The view from observatory on top of the museum was refreshing!

As we went on weekdays and evening there were hardly anyone, which was good as it was not necessary for us to wait for a ride. We could see a beautiful scenery of Lake Hamana's Kanzanji area. The cabin was large and ride was smooth. Unfortunately the Music Box museum was closed therefore not much to do up the mountain but we could see a bit of music boxes and many small ones for sale at the souvenir shop.

Kanzanji Ropeway is known to be the only lift in Japan that passes over a lake. The whole lift takes about 4 minutes total (boarding and unboarding). During the ride, there will be an announcer telling you about the views you will see form the window ( in Japanese of course). You will be able to see the beautiful Lake Hamana. The Ropeway is the only way to get to the Hamanako Music Box Museum. There is also an observation deck once you arrive! Beautiful!
