The night life is a lot of fun. Good crowds and plenty of food items to choose from. I visited the dueling piano bar and would highly recommend making a reservation or getting there really early if you hope to find a seat.

The street between Colorado river and the congress Capitol is clean and beautiful, it would be uphill if you walk towards the Capitol, but you can actually rent a scooter to do this

South Congress just south of Town Lake is close to all midtown has to offer. It offers an eclectic variety of restaurants, shopping, places to stay and just walking and looking.

Lots of small shops, overpriced and redundant. They call is SOCO. There were a couple little cafe's I would have visited but already had lunch. Shopping...nothing really intrigued me.

Even though the architecture lets you think you are in any town in Texas, SOCO is a unique place in Austin, where you can hang out the whole day

There are many little shops and restaurants. It’s nice to walk around on south congress avenue. They had a really nice candy shop.

What a huge vibe here. Bars line the neon covered streets. Enjoy all the bars here. Definitely come on a Friday night and take Uber. I felt safe being here and walking up and down. Credit card facilities, WiFi, restrooms, outdoor seating, parking on the...More
