Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I met my sister to tour the art exhibit. The fiber arts were amazing and the venue was great. The gift shop had local artist pieces and books about the area that made it the perfect stop and day out. Loved the fabric tea cups display.

Great show by the Coolville band, and great food by an independent vender, although not paleo friendly. Cash bar

This was our first trip to the Dairy Art Barn located behind the Ridges buildings for Ohio University. Easily accessible. Loved the collection of wooden objects, prints, jewelry and quilts - all made by local artists and reasonably priced. We went to the Spring Show during Mom's Weekend at Ohio University at the beginning of April. I always enjoy actually meeting and talking with the craftsmen whose work I am purchasing. While there, take time to walk the Nature trail the winds up the hill across the road to the 1890s-1911 cemetery.

We've been frequenting the Dairy Barn since its inception. Lots of fine exhibits. Lots of fine events. Lots of fine memories. To think we almost lost this treasure (the former dairy barn of the Athens Mental Health Center, earlier known as the Athens Lunatic Asylum.)

Beautiful old barn that has been renovated with care and attention to detail. Lovely setting down a winding lane off the main highway. Quilt show is truly excellent and has so many styles of quilting plus short descriptions by the artist/quilter.
New gift shop is well stocked with local gifts and the lady in the shop is very nice. Local volunteers man the admissions desk and are friendly and full of local knowledge. All together a friendly, happy place to visit.

for the beautiful palette that Athens is in the fall but the visit to the Dairy Barn (no... no cows!) was just as enchanting for a beautiful outdoor wedding and the sit down dinner that followed. Unfortunately, there was not an exhibit when we were there but have heard nothing but marvelous reviews from many visitors and Athenians. We did peek into the glass window to see the inside of the gift shop.. I see another trip coming soon!

Immaginative building located in lush park area with trees. When you visit Ohio University, be sure to check it out for the best of regional artwork. The gift shop also always has interesting items in all price ranges. The Dairy Barn also offers music and classes for all ages. Well worth the visit.

This was an old cow barn made into an Art Barn. They had Appalachian art when we visited. The building itself is so cool. Across the street is a graveyard where people from a mental institute were buried years ago.

The Dairy Barn provides a beautiful space for the Arts and events. The recent renovations has brought new life this once dairy barn. The expanded gift shops has a selection of original works and locally produced items.
