Great museum to visit to learn more about the spread of Islam and its affects on the world. Interesting and well laid out. The museum holds some truly amazing displays.

This should be a must for everyone! The display, history and cultural framework is incredible. Allow at least half a day but you could spend more. I wish I had photos to share my experiences but was so overwhelmed by the experience.

I enjoyed seeing the history of Islam in the region along with art that included everything from carvings, books, paintings, jewelry, textiles, ceramics, architecture and many other items.

It's a huge place with many intriguing Islamic fine art pieces from centuries ago. Take your time to admire the little details on paintings.

This place is a hidden gem..it has these amazing miniatures of mosques,ancient coins n clothes,historic antiques.. Worth a visit if you are into ancient stuff..just opposite the national mosque of KL.. It also has a gift shop to buy soverniers and antiques! Recommended.

Get yourself by taxi or Grab cars....doesn’t cost much. Pay a very small entrance.....then enjoy the history and beauty of displays at your leisure

yes, we took lots of pictures, not so sure on tripod, I would think it's fine but just double check with the museum first.
