From afar, this beautiful old stone bridge, with its arches reflected in the water, resembles a pair of glasses.

A simple bridge over the river. Tide was out so no reflections. There are no shortage of these bridges in the UK. Highly significant bridge for Nagasaki. Good models of how they made them in the Museum of History and Culture. Headed through up to...More

It was first built in the 17th century, and then restored in 2980s due to the damage from flooding. When reflecting the circles, it looks like a pair of glasses.

If you catch the bridge with it’s reflection it does look l8e spectacles. It’s possible to walk down to the waters edge, and see the fish. Look out for the ice cream sellers nearby.

When the sun reflects the bridge onto the water, it looks like a pair of spectacles. It is a beautiful sight.

If you are nearby go and take a look but in my opinion it’s not worth a detour and there are many better things to see in town.

Part of the walking tour from our cruise. Not anything spectacular, but quaint and different. One of several stone bridges on the river.
