An impressive architectural design where you get lost in all the marvels of this building. It is a must see from all angles and of special note is the cat-walk high up in the roof (unfortunately not many people know where the entrance is to...More

If you would like to catch a train 15 minutes is enough, but you can spend more time there by visiting shops and restaurants. People at JR Information counter are very friendly and patient.

This is a station to stay away when during peak hours, so crowded and you can see stressful faces of the Japanese workers and students try to catch their trains to go home or work.

Overwhelmed by its architecture and size! Beautiful and busy, but at the same time, full of restaurants, bathrooms and shops - anything you need while travelling thru Japan.

Kyoto is one of the oldest city with very natural scenery. It is very close to Osaka. Lots Temples ans Shrine. Rivers are flowing. Nice food. Kyoto Station is very busy. You can go to the top. And also see tower.

The ENORMOUS shopping centre attached to the station was so-so, but the real treat was the sky garden. Nice, peaceful space, fantastic views of the city and it's free! Grab a drink or picnic from the station or shops below and have fun enjoying the...More

The place can be quite confusing but you can expect help from anyone and anywhere. The building itself is old but beautiful.

Yes, there are several. When you get to the station, go to the tourist information booth. You don't have to line up. The pamphlets and flyers are on the left side as you go in. Good luck.
