Enjoyed strolling round this huge complex as it was very quiet. Free entry. No Goshuin but the information centre had free stamps for your non-temple notebook. Human hair rope is on the walkway between the two main halls.

From the Kyoto station, it's a short walk north to a free temple with multiple buildings including an art gallery. You can't take pictures inside the Temple buildings. The Goei-di Hall is said to be the largest wooden structure in the world.
