Was here in early May. Just in time for cherry blossoms. What a beautiful sight. Our hotel was just 5 minutes away from the park. We had our lunch at the park. There is no trash bin here. You must carry your trash back home....More

Although most of the food festivals and events happen in the much larger park called Odori Park, Nakajima Park is my favorite place. I always stay at hotels near the park. There is nothing like walking through the park at 2:00 am during the Winter...More

A lovely park that is walking distance (albeit a bit of a walk) from downtown Sapporo and the Susukino area. There are subway stations on either end of the park if you would rather take public transportation there. There is a lake on which you...More

We visited the park in winter. The scenery was fabulous. You can even see the mountain across from the lake. At the sports center, they loan out skis and poles free of charge! You can try cross country skiing for free at the park. At...More

If you’re looking for a nice place to catch your breath in the city, just get the subway green line and take a ride to this lovely park with: nice pond, rentable boats, lots of benches, picnic spots... and a philharmonic.

Our hotel was just a block away, and we thought of taking a stroll there. But strangely, it was barricaded. We could see a stream running on the periphery with ducks on it.

Visited during winter, this park is extremely beautiful with thick snow blanketing the entire area, from trees to the inner lake. Situated right above Nakajima Koen subway station, this park is a must visit if you are staying at a nearby hotel which is quite...More
