Although a grade, this is more of a research area. Looked more like a forrest. But we enjoyed the walk and the plants are well marked.

We were able to take tour boat around the waterways. Reminded me of miniature South Louisiana swamp tour. Ok thing to do, but not great....average. If they had a beer or 2...it could have been better. But, tea is king in China.

I came here with my teenage son hoping to do some birding. The garden is beautiful, and we saw more birds here than at Xixi Wetlands. It’s a very serene place with beautiful plants and flowers, nicely laid out with good signage. There’s a modest...More

The visit to the Botanical Garden was amazing. Kids loved the variety of flowers there and the garden is really well maintained and a perfect place to hang out if you are a nature lover.

I have lived in Hangzhou almost three years and gone here countless times. It never gets old! For spring, I suggest the plum garden and bonsai garden near the northeast gate. Early to mid-March is best, but sometimes they start to bloom even in late...More
