This was a stop on my tour to China. It was cool to see the farm and enjoy a traditional tea ceremony. While there was some hard selling afterwards, I enjoyed the tea and bought some.

The museum itself is nice and the tea tasting is fun, but at the end of the tea tasting the “tea master” will do a hard sell on the loose tea which they are trying to sell to tourists at between 30-50 dollars per container....More

Very much worth seeing, lots of information on tea. The only thing that as you leave staff is a little too aggressive in selling items to you.

Expect to sample several different green, black and flower teas. Prices are on the expensive side but you know you are getting top quality teas.

We enjoyed learning about tea and evening being served a lovely cup of tea. We enjoyed the learning, shopping for some souvenirs and strolling the grounds. The grounds are really pretty and we took many photos.

I mean this is just a museum about tea. Nice to see but not a must. I have been 3 Times there, because I brought friends to the tea mountains and they of course wanted to see museum (it’s for free).

I believe there is a fee. I traveled with Shanghai Outing Club. The trip was a hike of the tea plantation and visit to the museum with one fee for the entire trip. Highly recommend the hike.

The bus stop is on the main road; take a left at the exit and head towards Lu Cha. I think we took bus 27 back to the north end of West Lake.
