A sub station was outside our Hotel so we used on a few occasions. Lots of English signs and easy to purchase tickets. We travelled to the Tower and main city. Everything was very clean and would recommend at least one trip.

This is the most convenient way to travel. It does get crowded and there are security checks. We took this around the city, to the airport and to the train station, no worries about traffic.

Cheap but crowded. The announcement of each station and direction is both Chinese and English. Many security and staff people are at each station assisting passengers. Be prepared to be in the train for long time if you try Airport and major South Railroad Tation.

If you have never used a metro before it is still so easy to use with both clear Chinese and English instructions and directions from which train to take to which exit to use to leave the metro.
