Very impressive architecture. Has a number of state of the art features including machines that sort books and disinfectant boxes. Most of the books are in Mandarin but there are a few in English. If you are just walking through you don't need long here....More
Huge library, full of people of every age. From young to old and all want to read and learn. Also computeres and huge screens everywhere. Go to the highest floor and visit the library with the old books and furnitures too!

The architecture from the outside is amazing, it resembles staggering, cascading books, the environment created inside is superb, spacious and modern with a futuristic feel. Excellent collection of books (8th floor for international). A must see!!!
Well i was shocked to see the collection of books and especially English language books.The place is well maintained and everyone are usually into their own world. One can just peacefully read books and have a great time

Entrance is free to the public, and borrowing a library book only requires a State ID card (chinese citizens) or a passport (foreigners) to register for a free library card. Registration assistance is only in Chinese, but they were very patient as I used a translator app.
