The sculpted wall art is really good and this is part of going up to or down from the Monument. There is recording in Russian but you would need the skills to understand it.

This is another piece of this historical sight that tell so much about the history of the German invasion of Russia and the battle for what is now Volgograd.

Beautiful, imponent and by a park. There is music from the communist days playing that goes with the whole scenery. Good place to visit and for a nice walk. It is the entrance to the Mamaev's monument. It is easy to reach the entire site...More

There will be two big walls on each side as you go on the steps towards the "Motherland Calls". And each wall is unique, it has statues and inscriptions. Impressive
