Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Aqua park Riviera indoor is very crowded, long wait for each slides. Can’t enjoy in such condition. It should be limit of visitors somehow arranged by administration. No free towels, sleepers.

We visited Kazan in July after the World Cup and had a great day at the water park. Go as early as possible to try and minimize the crowds/lines and maximize the value (all day during the week 1090 RUB for adults, 890 RUB for children). Our children (ages 10 and 5) had a blast! The view from the Amazon slow river pool was fantastic! The staff was very friendly and helpful (we didn't speak Russian) although the entry/changing process can be a little overwhelming with all the people and noise.

Aside from the fact that this place is often crowded and not cleanest , it requires that all children regardless the fact whether accompanied by parents or know how to swim MUST wear safety jackets. We were not allowed in the pool unless my seven year old children wore one of those things. I personally see no point going to the pool if you are not able to swim. Also expect a life guard literally every step you take. I never seen a single hotel pool over staffed this way, not even in Vegas. My advice is skip this place unless you are visiting with very small kids or no kids at all. Mediocre and disappointing experience.

I visited the Riviera Aquapark in January with my wife and her parents, and we had a great time! The waterpark features many types of slides, pools, saunas, and other things to do. If you are looking for something exciting and fun to do in Kazan, check out the Riviera Aquapark!
My only complaint is that the ground is painted the same color as the steps. While walking with a raft in hand, i didn't see the step, and stubbed my toe causing it to bleed badly. The medical staff took good care of me, and i was back on the slides within a matter of minutes.

I was just visiting at Kazan aqua park. Unfortunately outdoor pools were closed due bad weather but there is indoor pools also.
Not so big variety but nice. Naturally it was a bit more packed with people since outside was closed .
Nice place. Entry included into room price.
Tidy and nice. Some pools also lead outdoors with great view to river and kreml opposite side and big wheel .

Experienced the wonderful swimming pool with a view on Kazan river and Kremlin: 80 m long !!! Wonderful place to stay when sun is here, unfortunately risk of overcrowding is huge, too many people and families to enjoy a quiet place.

My experience of this waterpark is not so good. The general system is not good and the atmosphere is not great. There are long queues to the ticket counters, and only one of the five employees spoke English.
Purchasing tickets was confusing. The person at the counter said that with a ticket to the waterpark, we would also gain access to the hotel pool, but not the other way around. We bought 4-hour tickets. When we tried to access the hotel pool, though, they told us we needed special bracelets. When we asked staff, they told us only full-day tickets include access to the normal pool. This was not mentioned to us during purchase of our tickets.
We were also told that there is an area where you can try diving, but this was closed during the summer. When we exited the park the staff at the counters knew nothing about it being closed.
Now, you would probably think, "Oh, this isn't so bad, you still have the slides!". Well, let me tell you about the slides. You have to wait for about 20 minutes just to get a ring so you can *queue* for the slide. The second queue is another 20 minutes, so to get to one 10sec slide, you need to wait 40 minutes.
We never got to try any of the actual slides because of this.
The park also offers services like food and massages, but we never got to try these, because you were apparently supposed to charge your bracelet with money at the clothing rooms. We only noticed the small signs when paying extra attention to the small English text while exiting the park.
The park also felt very unhygienic and poorly organized.
Overall it was not a good experience, there is apparently no communication between departments in this park, and therefore customers are misinformed. Everything is written in Russian, and only few of the messages are in English too. Only two or three of the staff members we met during our whole stay in the park spoke English. (I mean, for a tourist attraction, you'd think they hire people who speak English?) The park is not well cleaned, and it is poorly managed, so all of the slides have huge queues. (You don't see those kind of queues anywhere else, they should be tourist attraction in and of themselves!)
Maybe you should just save yourself the rubles, and not visit this place until they fix the issues. You could do lot's of other fun things with the money too, like buy ice cream, or find some other place with a normal swimming pool. (By the way, we also saw over the fence, the hotel pool didn't look much better either.)
Anyway, even though I don't like leaving negative feedback, I feel like it's a must for this place. (Sorry D:)

The Aqua park was decent, But the service of the staff was just terrible, Even acting outright rude towards customers. Would be a nice place if the employees learned a thing or two about customer relations.
