Do take your swimming wear. You will love to swim near the Telegraph Island where the Dhow anchors for sometime. Swimming with the fishes in the clear emerald green waters is fun

Beautiful experience floating up the Khasab fjords. The dolphins were abundant and plenty of places to swim and play in the chrystal blue waters. We did a full day private tour with a night camping on the beach— really fantastic memories for the whole family....More

If you travel by road, yes. If by sea via Dibba Boarder of Oman/UAE by sea Visa is not required as you will not step out of sea, but can view the fjords from Dhow the little wooden ship. Else you need to travel via Tibat... More

It will be hot. You have to win the car and view. Khawr Najd Area can be seen by driving. Else you could take a small boat aka Dhow and watch from sea. No turtles but Dolphins yes. But not sure if they are visible inMay.
