I just finished my AOWC and my friends did scuba diving course with scuba junkie crew, just wanna share our experience during the course, everything well good until we all certified according to PADI requirements. By the way all the crew very welcoming, experience and skill-full. Nevertheless scuba junkie never disappointed and always give an excellent services. 🥰😘

I just completed my AOW and I'm super glad to have Noel from Scuba Junkie KK as my instructor. He is a super patient instructor willing to answer all of my queries very detail and explain it very well. He is a very high skill & professional instructor. I feel 100% safe to subscribe course & diving with him. You definitely won't be regretted to dive with them❤️ Thanks for everything Noel & Scuba Junkie! Diving won't be perfect without a good instructor!

First of all, I have to say that sabah's tourism industry has been badly affected by the covid crisis. I've been putting off doing my advanced open water license for years as I didn't see a point wasting time/money on it. But realising I could support local businesses during these tough times, I decided to go with SJ as they've been consistently giving back to the local communities in sabah & actively promoting ocean conservation for years, according to my local friends. It's no easy feat to organise dives while adhering to the social distancing protocols and I must say they did a fantastic job! I met 3 ladies also taking their advanced certification & an elderly gentleman snorkelling on the trip, and the crew took really good care of all of us; giving us individual attention. Jason F. was our dive instructor & Ben was our boat captain. Jason was incredibly patient, catering to our different levels of diving proficiency with no issues. no one felt left out. Hats off to him! I felt we were quite an eclectic group,to say the least. With multiple issues to deal with all the time, Jason was so calm & professional. From someone being seasick, some having problems with buoyancy, getting lost, wanting different dives etc.lol. But he handled all of it amazingly, always with a smile. He took great effort to make us feel comfortable & safe. He's a very talented teacher too. Our buoyancy improved dramatically after 1 day(3 dives) where he helped correct our errors and patiently showed us the ropes. He even gave tons of great advice on progressing further in our dive career. Lunch is provided on the island and the portion is gigantic! You definitely won't go hungry. I read some reviews that complained about the diving in KK. I agree it's not the most amazing place for an experienced diver, visibility did get pretty bad at some points, but that's through no fault of the dive company. IMO, it's great to do your certification here & then head off to sipadan / better places. Doing the license elsewhere, I feel, is a waste of the night when you're focusing on studying the material to pass your certification & then being too tired to enjoy the dive the next day. But that's just me. I had such a great experience with Jason & booking my dives through Allie that I'm planning to do my rescue dive certification with them. And also join them for their sipadan dives. I went from someone who didn't think advanced open water was worth her time to aiming for DM in the future. This experience with them absolutely changed my mind. Thank you guys! Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to do their license!

Booking and execution well organized. The diving was OK, but not amazing. The time of the year might not have been the best to go (24°C water, visibility was mostly not so good). The dive guide was not really paying attention how fast we were diving (we said that we like to take it slow before the dive) and on one occurence he nearly lost us as we shallowed up to have better visibility.
