Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Beautiful short stop to make in town opposite Suria Sabah mall. Great example of a community art project with meaning that beautifies a corner of KK. Currently in its 3rd exhibition focusing on marine life. Our 6 year old loved seeing the sculptures of some animals we'd seen in the wild. Then pop into the mall for a drink or ice cream when you get too hot!

In 2015, local artists started the trend of painting the Pillars. The Local Authority should have preserved it for remembrance. Now...the people who have been depicted over the years, holds less significance...

On day 1 of passing by KK, we have seen the pillars of Sabah and we wanted to go down and see what was there. We finally found the time to visit and on our time of visit there were paintings, different type of art showing the endangered species of borneo. nice for taking photos and nice to learn about sabah's endangered animals as well

A wonderful project on this abandoned building! These wall paintings showcase many important things in Sabah which you can enjoy viewing and reading the displayed information also. The first project is on the greatest Sabahan while Pillars of Sabah project 2.0 showcases the wonderful animals of Sabah. I hope this project continues to teach the public and tourists more about Sabah.

One of the best places to visit while in KK! Not only are you able to take instagram worthy shots, each pillar has its own distinctive style of drawing/crafting. Best time to visit would be 5-7pm when the sun's setting!
