Daisy assisted us from the beginning till the very end. When we checked 5 weeks ago, there were only a slot left and after enquiring, we managed to secure 2 slots but my friend was pending his leave approval. Daisy kindly hold on to the reservation and did not pressure us to make a deposit or anything.
Eventually, we confirmed the trip and we got the itinerary for our detailed 2D1N Mount Kinabalu via Ferrata days before the trip. It was well coordinated, driver arranged was on time, we had a guide who looked out for us throughout and he paced us well to ensure we reach the summit on time and get down for via ferrata route before cut off time.
We had a great time and will definitely recommend friends to book through Outback Venture. Million thanks, Daisy!

Organised my Kinabalu trip with Outback Venture in early Jan 2022! Went with 4 friends and had a fantastic experience. Booking the trip was extremely smooth and painless -- thank you Daisy for being very responsive and accommodating all my requests and queries. Our driver, Belle, mountain guide, Elwen, and porter, Robbie, were all also very helpful, knowledgeable and great conversationalists. They made the whole experience very enjoyable and interesting! I highly recommend travelling in Borneo with Outback Venture. I did two tours with them: Mount Kinabalu (with Via Ferrata) and a private tour of Kundasang and Ranau. Both tours were seamlessly organised, with managers being very helpful in providing all the information I required to make decisions about my itinerary, and making all the tour arrangements very easy for me. I had an amazing experience in both tours. My mountain guide Maikin was extremely encouraging and friendly: I wouldn’t have made it without him, as he helped me plan my best timing to make it right in time for the summit to beat the crowds, and for my via ferrata activity. My guide for the Kundasang trip, Jean, went out and beyond to accommodate to my travel preferences, and thanks to to her I saw lots of amazing places and I even managed to catch rafflesia blooming! These two trips banked me so many wonderful memories to cherish! Thank you, Outback Venture team, and till next travels!

We booked a 2D1N package with Outback Venture to Kinabalu National Park from Kota Kinabalu. The guide was friendly and helpful. As there were only 4 of us, we could adjust the itinerary according to our liking. We had great fun.

We are just back from a 2 weeks stay in Sabah which Outback Venture helped organized customized to our family of 4. We had a fantastic time climbing Mt Kinabalu, going to Sepilok and then did a week of scuba diving on Gayana Island. From the start Daisy was very rapid at responding and modifying the itnierary, which we had to change a few times. She gave very helpful tips and suggestion. The communication prior to the trip and during the trip was excellent. The team was very friendly, knowledgeable, on time and flexible. Everything ran very smoothly and we are very happy with the team. Thank you Outback Venture team! We absolutely recommend you!

I contacted about 10 different Tour companies for my trip to Malaysia and this company was the quickest to respond, the most adorable and the most accommodating. This was the only tour company that would accommodate my particular plans and hotel choices. My sister and I love wildlife and we wanted to stay at Sukau Rainforest Lodge and Borneo Rainforest Lodge for two nights each. This company arranged our stays with transportation and met all of our requests plus found us a great beach resort to stay in at the end. Daisy was incredibly responsive and answered my many questions very quickly and thoroughly. The trip went very smoothly. We did not need to contact them while on our trip but I have no doubts they would have been very responsive if we needed them.

We did a 3D2N at Kundasang Pine resort followed by the KK climb. Everything was well planned and Jean was always on time to pick us up to the various locations. The planning part was made easy by Daisy’s responsiveness before the trip.
During the trip, Jean was our liaison and was very prompt in her response as well.
Our guide cum porter, Lessius was very apologetic for not being able to communicate in English but he absolutely helped us along the way, especially on the journey to the summit where we suffered from mild altitude sickness and he guided and encouraged us to go a little further.
Sometimes we just require a helping hand in life’s journey to push on.
I don’t think we were fully prepared for the climb mentally and physically but it was an absolute fantastic experience. Thanks to the team for making it as easy as it could be.

It's been a year since I climbed the Mt. Kinabalu thru the Outback venture. I hope this review is not too late to share😆. Booking with Outback is I guess the most convenient way to plan your hike to South East Asia's highest summit. Their guide Steven is very friendly, accommodating and very patient. Actually all of the people I met during this trip. I travelled solo but with them, it made my adventure more fun and unforgetable. Kudos to Team Outback Venture😉

We recently returned from a wonderful tour of beautiful Sabah. A complex compact itinerary that included several sites, accommodation, transport & flights. Everything went smoothly as planned without a hitch. Kudos to Ms Daisy Chong who was always with us through WhatsApp if needed, many thanks for all the small things that came up & your rapid response, it's really admirable. The team that accompanied us all the time was exceptional Waty, Martin, John, Aman & Stephany, not forgetting the Lodge staff.

Travelling with 3 kids I wanted our snorkeling trip to be safe and smooth. Outback Venture provided that, and more! My kids and I had a really wonderful time on our snorkeling trip. Our guides were really attentive and kept us safe all the time. Sandwiches and drinks were made available for us on the boat. Outback venture arranged a nice lunch at Pulau Manukan for us too. The boat, Sea Tango, was really clean and nice. The life jackets and snorkeling gears were all in great condition. Special thanks to Daisy for arranging everything. We're grateful to have Ethan, Bb and Bert to guide and make our snorkeling trip memorable!

Daisy.. very prompt in reply. Mount kinabalu was an unforgettable trip of 2020. Our guide, slyvester, a warm and caring person never short of laughs and always concern of our well being taught us that a great guide is very essential in situations like this. Overall, everything was smooth and I couldn’t thank outback venture more for making this happen for us.
